Flitzer Kobold/Goblin
This Flitzer design is currently under development. It represents the lightest, simplest and most compact of
the Flitzer Series; a sport biplane stripped to its basic essentials. Designed to be powered by the 1834 cc
VW engine, it promises spectacular performance for that engine by means of its light weight and
diminutive design. The design simplicity of the Flitzer Z-21 is retained through nearly 100% duplication of
fittings, cabine struts and landing gear. Elimination of the engine mount and bolting the engine directly to
the airframe (like the Volksplane), and incorporation of an 'all flying' rudder make this design shorter and
more maneuverable. The Goblin is 'sports racer' of the Flitzer Series, and is sure to earn its wicked name.
